Jiefu Zimei Scenic Area is located in Jiefu Township, Yongchun County, where it is like spring all year round. It is in the northeast region of Yongchun County. Here, there is a history of porcelain making that dates back more than 3,000 years. This is the location of the Kuzhaikeng Proto-porcelain Kiln Site in Yongchun, which is currently the earliest discovered kiln site for firing proto-porcelain in China.
This site was awarded the “Top 10 Archaeological Discoveries in China in 2016”. It pushed the history of firing proto-porcelain in China back by more than 200 years, rewriting China’s ceramic history and also its civilization history, becoming the birthplace of Chinese porcelain. It was also awarded as the eighth batch of National Key Cultural Relics Protection Units and the first batch of provincial archaeological site parks.

This is also the hometown of General Lin Junde, one of the top ten heroic models with portraits hanging in the Chinese People’s Liberation Army. It is also a research and practice education base for primary and secondary school students in Yongchun County.

In the Zimei Village Scenic Area of Jiefu Township, in addition to paying respects at the Lin Junde General Memorial Hall, visitors can also participate in military-themed expansion training. They can also visit the ancient pottery-making process in the ceramic cultural and creative exhibition area. Under the guidance of master craftsmen, children can experience the fun of making pottery by hand.

In the scenic area, there are a series of popular interactive projects such as ceramic DIY, hand-pulled embryo making, painting, blessing-touching, forest archaeology, fish feeding, shout fountains, go-karts, porcelain-color slides, outdoor expansion, time tunnels, tea garden mazes, and visits to ancient kiln sites, which will keep you entertained.

In recent years, the essence of the millennium-old ceramic culture has been fully and deeply explored to build a tourist destination integrating archaeological research, cultural tourism, ceramic entertainment, ecological sightseeing, and leisure vacations.
