Jing’an Park is located opposite the ancient Jing’an Temple. The park, which is shaped like a convex, is bordered by Yan’an Middle Road to the south, Huashan Road to the west, and residential areas to the east. After more than 40 years of development, the park has become a fresh and elegant urban oasis in the heart of the city.
Jing’an Park is centered around 32 century-old sycamore trees along the central avenue. The northern main entrance leads to the Jing’an Park Scenic Ginkgo Square. The eastern part is a historical and cultural space, featuring the ancient ‘Eight Sights of Jing’an’, and is designed using traditional garden techniques that create depth and perspective through small-scale elements. The ‘Eight Sights of Jing’an Garden’ has been established in this area.

The southeast part of the park features undulating ornamental lawns. The western open area utilizes the height difference between the elevated dome of the Jing’an Temple subway station and the ground, creating a mountainous and watery landscape with large-scale artificial rock waterfalls. The hillside is planted with valuable flowers and trees, and a viewing platform is set up, offering a spectacular ‘urban forest’ landscape, making it a space for modern metropolises to experience natural landscapes.

Jing’an Park has developed plant diversity, with more than 300 types of plants. The aquatic plants in the ornamental ponds within the park are particularly attractive to tourists from both China and abroad. The park is open all year round, 24 hours a day. Specific opening hours are subject to the on-site notice at the scenic area.
