Jingchuan Park was built in 1990. It is built to commemorate Tang Jingchuan, an anti-Japanese hero and writer during the Jiajing period of the Ming Dynasty. In addition to the scenic spots related to Tang Jingchuan, it is a park with lakes, greenery, pavilions and towers. Locals often come here to exercise and do square dancing. In addition, there is a children’s amusement area in the park. Jingchuan Park has entrances in the east, north and west directions. There is no particular emphasis on which direction to enter. The scenic spots related to Tang Jingchuan in the park are: the cultural statue of Tang Jingchuan sitting with a book in his hand, the martial statue of Tang Jingchuan standing with armor on his body and a long spear in his hand, Tang Jingchuan’s tomb, Tang Jingchuan’s ancestral temple, and Chen Du Thatched Cottage, where Tang Jingchuan studied. Tang Jingchuan’s tomb was built in 1560 AD in the 39th year of Jiajing in the Ming Dynasty. Later, it was destroyed. What we see now is restored in 1990. Tang Jingchuan’s ancestral temple was relocated from No. 224 Qingguo Lane. It is the main ancestral temple of the Tang family. There are stone carvings of calligraphy strips by Ni Zan, a great calligrapher in the Yuan Dynasty, embedded in the walls. It is a building in the late Ming and early Qing dynasties. Chen Du Thatched Cottage, where one studies, is an antique architectural complex of Jiangnan gardens, including Wuyan Tower, Chunchi Pavilion, Yaxi Pavilion, Laiyun Pavilion and corridors, rockeries, clear streams, small bridges and other buildings and courtyards. In his early years, Tang Jingchuan resigned due to illness. After returning home, he devoted himself to reading at the place where he studied. The amusement facilities in the park include paid lake cruise ships. There are carousel, trampoline and other facilities in the children’s amusement area. The prices are not expensive. In spring, the park is full of blooming flowers. In summer, there are lotus flowers blooming in the lake. You can come and take pictures. Opening hours: open all day throughout the year.
