Jingsi Garden is located in the suburbs of Wujiang District, Suzhou. It is a private garden of private entrepreneur Chen Jingen. Although it is a new garden built in 1993, with small bridges, flowing water, pavilions and towers, it is no worse than the authentic Suzhou classical gardens. The garden owner has collected many brick-carved gate towers and ancient wooden halls from the Ming and Qing Dynasties from various places in Shanghai, Jiangsu and Anhui.

He also loves strange stones. The Lingbi stones distributed everywhere make the garden more interesting. Jingsi Garden is far from the urban area of Suzhou, and there are not many tourists. It is suitable for tourists who want to find a new way in Suzhou gardens. The main gate of Jingsi Garden is opened at the north end. The eastern part of the garden is a residential area, and the western part has a lake area.

Entering the beautiful brick-carved gate and walking eastward, not far away is the treasure of the garden, ‘Qingyun Peak’. This Lingbi stone is as high as a three-story building and has more than 1,600 holes on it, which is amazing. The main buildings in the east are the foyer, the sedan hall and the Jingyuan Hall from south to north. Among them, Jingyuan Hall is the main hall, which is very beautiful.

The mahogany furniture placed in it has delicate patterns. While taking a walk by the lake in the west and enjoying the garden scenery, you can pay attention to the bridges on the lake. The ‘Little Chuihong’ in the shape of a promenade in the southwest corner is like a rainbow erected on the water. The Heting Bridge is not far from the main gate. It is a three-arch stone bridge. There are three pavilions on the bridge.

The pavilions are connected by eaves. The whole bridge has a unique shape. Three kilometers east of Jingsi Garden is Tongli Ancient Town, which can be visited together.
