Songjia Bridge, located in the middle section of West Street, runs from east to west and is a single-arch stone bridge. The bridge measures 16.2 meters in total length, with a clear span of 4.2 meters and a width of 2.4 meters on the bridge deck. Originally named Pingdeng Bridge, it was renamed Songjia Bridge due to its location over the Songjia Port. During the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty, it was rebuilt and renamed Jingxing Bridge, with the three characters ‘Jingxing Bridge’ still inscribed on the bridge.
On the north side of Jingxing Bridge is Andu Square, which serves as the main passenger boat dock for entering the Xizha Scenic Area. To the south of the bridge, across the river, is the wooden pier of the water market, situated at the confluence of Xishi River and its tributary, offering a very beautiful view. Hence, the name Jingxing Bridge, which implies that when visitors arrive here, they can enjoy the beautiful waterside scenery. The bridge is open all year round, 24/7, with specific business hours subject to daily opening conditions.Wuzhen Xizha Scenic Area: Songjia Bridge (Jingxing Bridge)
