Jinling Xiaocheng spans a planned area of 3000 mu, with a land area of 780 mu, located in the western part of the Niushou Mountain Cultural Tourism Area, east of Niushou Avenue and north of Mozhou Road. The scenic area is designed around the concept of ‘one street, one water, one Zen, one hall, one pavilion, and two lakes’, offering visitors a dynamic journey through changing scenes and memories of the prosperous Jinling era, vividly recreating the elegant gatherings and the refined culture of the ancient city.
Yan Jili, one of the ‘eight miles’ of Jinling Xiaocheng, serves as a model for the entire project and a pilot demonstration area. It provides tourists with five major experiences: travel, residence, commerce, participation, and entertainment, showcasing Jinling Xiaocheng’s unique qualities of ‘royal spirit, elegant soul, artistic beauty, mountain seclusion, and historical charm’. Opening hours are from April 1st to October 31st, Monday to Friday 14:00-21:30; Saturday and Sunday 09:30-21:30; from November 1st to March 31st, Monday to Friday 13:30-21:00; Saturday and Sunday 09:30-21:00. On weekends that fall on public holidays, the scenic area operates according to the current weekday hours. Preferential policies include: Children aged 6 (inclusive) or under 1.4 meters (inclusive) in height enter for free; minors aged 6 to 18 (inclusive) pay half price; Elderly aged 70 (inclusive) and above enter for free; those aged 60 to 70 (exclusive) pay half price; Disabled individuals with a valid disability certificate issued by the China Disabled Persons’ Federation enter for free; those with disability levels 1 or 2, in addition to themselves, can have one accompanying person enter for free; Active military personnel of the People’s Republic of China, retired military officers, and those receiving national pensions enter for free; Martyrs with the ‘People’s Republic of China Martyr, Fallen Soldier, Deceased Soldier’s Family Preference Certificate’ enter for free; Firefighters (including active, retired, disabled firefighters, fire rescue academy students, and full-time government firefighters) enter for free; Other groups with valid awards for blood donation, stem cell donation, and volunteer service in Jiangsu Province, or with valid provincial or municipal certificates of bravery in Jiangsu Province, enter for free; Full-time undergraduate and below students (excluding adult education students) with valid identification pay half price. Important tips: 1. To ensure visitor safety and a better tour experience, the scenic area adopts a limited entry and free appointment test mode. Please make appointments in advance, and the number of appointments for the day is limited. No on-site appointments are accepted. 2.
