The Jinsha Cableway is located in the eastern part of Sanqingshan, a World Natural Heritage site and national scenic area in Shangrao, Jiangxi. The lower station of the cableway is situated at Huangmaogang in Jinsha, with a station house covering an area of 2,294.3 square meters and a construction area of 3,365.7 square meters.
The cableway line spans a horizontal distance of 2,460.43 meters, with an inclined length of 2,670 meters and a vertical difference of 889.5 meters. Along the route, there are 19 steel structure supports and 42 cable car cabins, with the cabins spaced 142 meters apart. This is an advanced single-circuit detachable 8-person cable car system. The operating speed reaches up to 6 meters per second, with a one-way trip time of 7.35 minutes and a transport capacity of 1,200 people per hour. Opening hours are from 08:00 to 17:00 all year round; from 07:30 to 17:00 all year round, with specific business status subject to the day’s opening conditions. Preferential policies include: 1.
