Jiufeng Mountain in Ningbo is located between Daqi Town and Chaiqiao Town in Beilun District. It is located at the eastern end of the Jiangnan continental shelf and belongs to the Taibai Mountain branch of the Tiantai Mountain Range. The peaks are stacked and connected, and there are nine peculiar peaks, hence the name. Jiufeng Mountain covers an area of dozens of miles. It is supported by Taibai Mountain in the south and borders the East China Sea in the north. There is a ‘classic’ of mountains and seas to be recited. It can be described as a fairyland on earth. There was once a poem praising it: ‘Looking at the nine peaks from a distance, the green mountains are carved out like green lotus flowers’. Soon, Jiufeng Mountain will become the beautiful back garden of Ningbo. The Jiufeng Mountain tourist area is composed of five groups of scenic spots, namely, Wang’ao Scenic Area, Ruiyan Scenic Area, Wuyánxia Youth Camping Area, Chengwan Reservoir and Jiufeng Sports Valley. Here, mountains, waters, forests, canyons and lakes each have their own characteristics. People can go sightseeing, worship Buddha, experience folk customs, or have entertainment and leisure. They can take what they need and enjoy themselves. Opening hours: Open from 08:00 to 16:00 all year round, except in special circumstances such as typhoons and heavy snowfalls. Preferential policies: Children: Children under 6 years old (inclusive) or under 1.2 meters in height (inclusive) are free; minors aged 6 (excluding) to 18 years old (inclusive) with valid certificates are half price. Elderly: Elderly people aged 70 years old (inclusive) and above with senior citizen cards or ID cards are free; elderly people aged 60 (inclusive) to 70 years old (excluding) with senior citizen cards or ID cards (including compatriots from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan) are half price. Students: Students with educational backgrounds below full-time undergraduate with student ID cards are half price. Disabled people: Disabled people with disability certificates are free. Military personnel: Active-duty military personnel with soldier cards are free. Supplementary note: If you belong to the above groups, please bring relevant valid certificates and directly go to the ticket office of the scenic spot to purchase tickets.
