Dizang Temple of Jiuhua, originally established during the Longxing era of the Southern Song Dynasty, has a history of over 800 years. Currently, there stands an old-style main hall with three visible and five hidden sections, housing a statue of Dizang Bodhisattva, flanked by the King of Fengdu on the right and the King of Dongyu on the left.

There are ten halls dedicated to the ten kings of the underworld, each with lifelike statues of the kings, civil and military judges, and various forms of yakshas and imps.

The western wing consists of twelve rooms, with the upper level serving as monks’ quarters and the lower level for commercial use.

The eastern wing has four rooms, where multiple Buddhas are enshrined, coexisting with Daoist deities.

There is an ancient saying, ‘Worshipping at Langshan without visiting Dizang Temple of Jiuhua means only half the merit is achieved.’ The temple is open throughout the year from 6:00 to 18:00.
