The Jiupan River is a must-pass place for people traveling from Chongqing City via Fengjie County to the Tiankeng-Difeng Scenic Area. The scenery along the way is beautiful and pleasant. The boundary at the entrance of the Jiupan River scenic area starts from the Hu Jiawan small bridge in the north. The southern exit is the Gaoqiao. The road runs along the river, from Lianghekou all the way to Gaoqiao. The mountains on both sides are steep, and the trees are shady and lush. The river meanders between the mountain crevices, like a jade belt lingering between the two mountains. Hence the name Jiupan River.
