Junshan Mountain is the tallest among the five mountains in the Langshan area, characterized by its lush greenery and fresh air. From its peak, one can enjoy a panoramic view of the Yangtze River and Langshan, offering boundless scenery.
At the summit stands the historic Putuo Courtyard, a renowned Buddhist site in Nantong, where visitors can pay homage and pray for blessings, and also admire the world’s largest jade Guanyin statue. Junshan is not large, and the paths leading to the top are relatively flat, providing an environment that is both beautiful and less crowded compared to Langshan. The southwest cliff of Junshan features the Wangjiang Terrace, which offers an expansive view of the Yangtze River and the vast, misty waters of the river. On the northwest side of Junshan, the Qitai provides a distant view of Langshan, Jianshan, and the surrounding landscapes, presenting beautiful scenery on clear days. The opening hours are from 07:30 to 17:00 all year round. Preferential policies include free admission for children aged 6 (inclusive) or under 1.4 meters (inclusive), preferential tickets for minors aged 6 to 18 (inclusive) with a resident ID or student ID, free admission for seniors aged 65 and above (with a resident ID or other valid documents), preferential tickets for those aged 60 to 65 (inclusive) with a resident ID, and preferential tickets for full-time undergraduate and below students with a student ID.
