The ‘Juqu Scenic Spot’ arch stands proudly by the side of Changchun Bridge’s boat dock, facing Taihu Lake, with its bracket sets and eaves exhibiting a simple elegance. On the back is inscribed ‘Hengyun Mountain Villa’. ‘Juqu’ is the ancient name for Taihu Lake, and ‘Hengyun Mountain Villa’ was the original name of the park. In front of the arch, a lake stone stands tall and upright, resembling a gesture of greeting. Further ahead, there is an inscription by Wang Yinzhi that reads ‘Forget the Worldly Affairs Upon Arrival’, signifying that all mundane thoughts vanish and one feels transcendent upon reaching this place. The park is open all year round from 08:00 to 17:30, with specific business hours subject to the daily opening status.
