The Juzhou Museum boasts a rich collection of historical resources and archaeological studies, spanning from the era of apemen, through the Stone Age, the Spring and Autumn and Warring States periods, to the modern era. The basic exhibitions are divided into two main parts: the ‘Archaeological Artifacts Exhibition’ and the ‘Scattered Cultural Relics Exhibition’. The museum consists of three floors and nearly twenty galleries. A thorough visit would require a significant amount of time. History enthusiasts must not miss this opportunity.
Opening hours are Tuesday to Sunday from 08:30 to 11:30 and 14:00 to 16:30 all year round; the museum is closed all day on Mondays. Service facilities include guided tours: there is a charge for the讲解 services (except for student groups), with a group size of less than 20 people costing 100 yuan per group per session, and 20 to 40 people costing 150 yuan, with additional charges for groups larger than 40 people. The time for each session does not exceed one hour, with extra charges for overtime.
