Kuishan Park is adjacent to the Martyrs’ Memorial Tower of the Huaihai Campaign. It is renovated on the basis of the original Kuishan Park and is listed as a key municipal project. The park relies on Kuishan, also known as Kuishan. According to legend, there is a Kuishan Tower on the mountain. Under the tower, there is a Kuixing Pavilion. Inside the pavilion, there is a Kuixing god in charge of cultural transportation. In the minds of Confucian scholars, Kuixing has a supreme position. Based on this legend, combined with the fact that there are many schools in the south of Xuzhou, with a strong cultural and educational atmosphere, and the park is located next to the famous patriotic education base – the Martyrs’ Memorial Tower of the Huaihai Campaign. Therefore, it is determined to transform the park into an open park with the theme of ‘encouraging learning and inspiring ambition’. Covering an area of 126 mu, about more than 80,000 square meters, the project budget investment is 50 million yuan. In the design scheme, the park cleverly uses the original big trees and adopts a natural layout as a whole, striving to create a natural ecological garden. There are scenic spots such as the main entrance square, Zhuangyuan Bridge, Gaofeng Pavilion, Reading is Beneficial, Standing Out, Six Arts of Shi Shuo, Encouraging Learning Platform, Songtao Pavilion, and Songtao Square. The specific business status of the opening hours is subject to the opening situation on the day.
