The dance drama “Du Fu” is the first domestic dance drama on the theme of “Poet Sage” created by Chongqing Song and Dance Ensemble in cooperation with the top domestic creative teams, which took one year to create and has been polished for many years. In about 110 minutes, it presents and narrates the vagrant life of “Poet Sage” Du Fu in an imagery way, condensing the whole process of Du Fu from traveling as an official, being an official to resigning. Du Fu’s life of desperately pursuing his ideals, loudly advocating for the people, and never demeaning himself for his personality is fully displayed in the dance drama.
