Lang Xiang Mi Gu, located 30 kilometers southeast of Fengyang County, is divided into two main themes: Ancient Temples for Buddhist Worship and the Enigmatic Valley Exploration. The Enigmatic Valley Exploration is particularly entertaining, featuring a natural karst topography that forms a ‘labyrinth’. The paths within the maze are extremely narrow, with some sections only passable by bending over and sidling through. The rock walls on both sides of the paths display layered textures, and stout trees tenaciously grow on the rocks, presenting a unique landscape.
The entrance to the scenic area is in the northeast corner, with the Ancient Temples for Buddhist Worship section to the east and the Enigmatic Valley Exploration section to the west. Visitors first arrive at the Ancient Temples for Buddhist Worship, where the main attractions include Chan Ku Temple, Chan Ku Cave, cliff inscriptions, and pagoda forests. It is said that Chan Ku Temple was built during the reign of Emperor Wu of Han, and what we see today is a modern reconstruction.
Proceeding to the Enigmatic Valley Exploration, many visitors may lose their way within. The names of the attractions within are fittingly named, such as ‘Dizzying Alleys’. At the end of the valley, there is an amusement park where visitors can enjoy swings, seesaws, and take a walk on the path of the brave.
There are few dining options within the scenic area, so visitors should bring their own food. Due to the narrowness of the valley, it is advisable not to carry large bags, as navigating through the tight spaces can be inconvenient.
The entire area is open year-round from 08:00 to 17:00. Preferential policies include free entry for children who are 1.2 meters (inclusive) or under 6 years old (inclusive); half-price for children between 1.2 meters (exclusive) and 1.5 meters (exclusive). For seniors, those aged 65 and above (inclusive) with valid ID are admitted free, while those aged between 60 and 65 (exclusive) with valid ID receive a half-price discount.
