Langshan is adjacent to the Yangtze River and is one of the famous scenic spots in Nantong. The mountain is lush with trees and there are many historical sites. The main scenic spots include Guangjiao Temple with a history of thousands of years, Luo Binwang’s Tomb, Sanxian Temple, Zhiyun Tower, etc. Standing on the top of the mountain, you can overlook the Yangtze River with beautiful scenery. Buddhist buildings here are all over the mountain and it is a holy place for worshipping Buddha and praying for blessings. The main entrance of Langshan scenic area is located on Chengshan Road in the east. There is a cableway to go up the mountain, but it is not recommended to take it because the scenic area is not large and the mountain is not high. It only takes about two hours to walk up and down the mountain to finish touring. Along the mountain road of Langshan, there are many tombs of historical celebrities, such as the tomb of Luo Binwang, a famous poet in the Tang Dynasty. Continuing forward is Guangjiao Temple, which enshrines the statue of Bodhisattva Mahasthamaprapta. On both sides are the Buddha statues of sixteen arhats.
