The underground river, located 8 kilometers east of Lanxi, is also known as ‘Liudong Mountain’, famous for its three attractions: the underground river, Qixia Garden, and Qi Zhen Temple. Within the underground river, a subterranean stream over a kilometer long runs through the entire area, with water flowing year-round, the source of which remains unknown to this day. A unique feature and highlight of the scenic area is boating through the limestone caves along the underground river. The area is open all year round from 08:00 to 16:00, and from Monday to Sunday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
