Lao Thailand Travel: A Journey to the Enchanting Wonders of Laos and Thailand for New Year 2020

Traveling to Thailand: An Enriching Experience

By the way, traveling to Thailand is getting better and better now. Universities in Thailand have offered Chinese courses, and many young Thais can speak Chinese very well. I met some when I was at the night market. When we wanted to buy juice, they helped us talk to the store owner. It’s really great!

Night Market Adventures

At first, I thought there was only the open-air area for food. Later, I found that the night market here is extremely large! There are several night markets with several areas for delicious snacks, as well as areas for groceries and clothing. The area for delicious snacks is simply the paradise I yearn for!

The seafood here is really tempting. At this time, grilled fish must be tasted! A whole box of crab paste is 400 baht. Remember to take the number plate when you place an order. After it is cooked, the store owner at the stall will find you according to the number plate and deliver it to your table.

For stalls selling noodles and vermicelli, seasonings will be placed in obvious places at the stalls. Tableware can be found at several fixed locations in the entire night market. You can just pick it up by yourself. There will also be a seasoning table nearby. The tableware gives me a very clean feeling. This bowl of vermicelli is 40 baht, which is 10 yuan. It’s cheap and delicious!

Cultural Reflections

After eating, I strolled by casually. I remember when I came to Thailand alone for the first time many years ago. When I went to KFC to eat, I secretly laughed at myself for coming to Thailand to eat fast food. Now the feeling of seeing KFC is different. This is a brand of our country. Ma Yun, who was rejected when applying for a job at KFC back then, has now bought all the foreign shares of KFC. Awesome!

It seems that the next generation’s love for KFC is far-sighted. They know that one day this will belong to the local entity and will no longer be foreign fast food. Then I passed by 7-Eleven again and continued to buy many small things. I began to collect things to bring home one after another…
