Flight Experience
For our round-trip flight, we took Laos Airlines, flying directly from Shanghai Pudong Airport to Vientiane Airport. The meals on the outbound flight were prepared by Shanghai Pudong Airport, while the return flight’s meals were prepared by Vientiane Airport. Don’t forget to seize the last opportunity to experience Laos by choosing Lao Beer with ice!
Return to Shanghai
On Day 6, our flight landed at Shanghai Pudong Airport at 23:05. I had booked a nearby express hotel that offers airport shuttle services. When I arrived at the airport, the hotel’s shuttle was already waiting for me. This shuttle is shared by several hotels around the airport and runs every half hour between the hotels and the two terminals of Pudong Airport.
The next morning, I still took this shuttle to Terminal 1 and took Line 2 to Shanghai Hongqiao Railway Station. I caught the 9:40 high-speed train back to Hangzhou, arriving at 10:00 AM, perfectly on time for my lunch appointment!
