Dinner and after
After the Thai tea is served, an ice bucket will be brought at the same time. In short, both Thailand and Laos are places where ice is indispensable whether for drinking alcohol or water. For dinner, we had Thai cuisine. Tom Yum Goong soup is very representative of Thai food. Thai cuisine is quite similar to Lao cuisine. Or Thai cuisine will have more flavors of natural spices. Beef fried rice is very delicious. Mainly because Thai rice is really worth having a few more bowls. We finished eating white rice first and then added fried rice. In Thailand or Laos, watermelon, papaya, pineapple, and mango will be the most commonly served fruits with meals.
After dinner, we excitedly went to check in at the 7-Eleven supermarket. Haha, I think what I like most about Thailand is having 7-Eleven. This time, I bought the salted egg yolk Pepsi potato chips highly recommended by Teacher Jin Dan (surprisingly not available in China, which is unreasonable!). I also bought the fresh milk I love to drink and ready-to-eat crab sticks… There is no problem with payment. When paying with Alipay, it shows 90.50 Thai baht and 20.99 Chinese yuan in dual currency. Visiting the Red Lotus Sea
Many Western tourists, particularly photography enthusiasts, make a special trip to visit the Red Lotus Sea. The blooming period spans from December to March of the following year, with December showcasing the majority of buds and January and February being the peak times for the red lotuses. The best time to view them is from 06:00 to 11:00, as they are most beautiful in the morning.
The lotus flower symbolizes purity, and it is often depicted with deities sitting on lotus blossoms. Guanyin, holding a clear lotus, represents the purification of all troubles. The Red Lotus Sea provides a dreamlike, otherworldly feeling of beauty.
When sharing a selfie with the boatman, it is recommended to apply sunscreen, as the ultraviolet index remains constant throughout the year despite the temperature in Udon not being high in January.
