The Li Bai Cultural Park is located in Dangtu, Anhui. It is a place with beautiful mountains and clear waters, abundant resources and spiritual essence. It has a long history and splendid culture. At the foot of the green mountains with jagged peaks, lies the great poet Li Bai (701 – 762) of the Tang Dynasty. Li Bai was deeply attached to Dangtu and loved Qingshan Mountain throughout his life. During his sixty-two years of wandering life, he passionately eulogized Dangtu and left more than fifty poems and many magical legends for this land. The Li Bai Cultural Park is nestled against the lush Daqingshan Mountain and faces the flowing Qingshan River. Surrounded by forests and waters, the environment is quiet. There are more than twenty scenic spots such as memorial archways, Taibai Stele Forest, Tiaoqing Pavilion, Taibai Shrine, Li Bai’s Tomb, Shiyong Pavilion, Qinglian Academy and so on. Entering the park, you can see azaleas in spring, lotus in summer, osmanthus in autumn, and wintersweet in winter. Pavilions, towers, bamboo and flowing water complement each other and form a delightful scene. The green mountain behind the poetic soul is clear and beautiful, with beautiful forests and valleys. Looking south, it is like a blooming lotus, graceful and charming; looking north, it is like two towers facing the sky, reaching straight into the clouds… The Li Bai Cultural Park and Qingshan Mountain are famous cultural tourist attractions for spring outings, autumn hikes, understanding Li Bai and his poems, savoring Jiangnan garden craftsmanship, and appreciating the works of modern calligraphers. Opening hours: Open all year round from 08:30 to 17:00. Preferential policies: Children: Free for those under 1.2 meters (inclusive) in height; half price for those between 1.2 meters (exclusive) and 1.4 meters (exclusive) in height. Students: Half price for primary and middle school students with student ID cards. Elderly: Half price for those aged 60 (inclusive) to 64 (inclusive) with identity documents; free for those aged 65 (inclusive) and above with identity documents.
