Lianghong Wetland Park is located within the territory of Wu Culture Expo Park, a scenic area in Wuxi City, Jiangsu Province, China. It borders the agricultural ecological exhibition area of Hongshan Site Park to the east, is adjacent to Taibo Canal to the west, starts from Taibo Canal Zanqiao in the north, and extends to the natural village of Qiaotou Lane in the south. The total planned area is 1333 acres, with the first phase covering 600 acres, which opened on April 10, 2009.
Lianghong Wetland Park, with the essence of Wu culture and relying on the Jiangnan agricultural wetland, integrates the natural and wild ecological wetland, charming water culture, and pure and simple pastoral scenery. It gathers functions such as wetland ecological resource protection, scientific research, scientific popularization display, artistic creativity, and tourism leisure vacation, aiming to become a well-known cultural ecological wetland in the Yangtze River Delta metropolitan area.
At the same time, relying on the significant and unique cultural resource of Liang Hong and Meng Guang’s harmonious family culture, the park plans to build functional carriers such as Liangmeng Hejia Manor, Liangmeng Enai Temple, Liangmeng Wedding Base, and Liangmeng Wedding Photography Base, with the theme of promoting harmonious family culture. It aims to create an ‘Capital of Love’ with significant influence internationally and domestically, and to build Lianghong Wetland Park into one of China’s best theme parks for love, marriage, and family.
Opening hours are from 09:00 to 15:30 all year round. Preferential policies include: Children under 1.2 meters in height enter for free; those aged between 6 (excluding) and 18 (including) pay 15 yuan; seniors over 70 years old with valid documents enter for free; those aged between 60 (including) and 69 (including) pay 15 yuan; military personnel with officer IDs enter for free; people with disabilities with disability certificates pay half price; full-time primary, middle, and high school students (excluding adult education and graduate students) with student IDs receive discounts.
