The lighthouse of Yuantouzhu stands perilously by the lake. In 1920, Hua Tirongbi, a gentleman from Wuxi who lived in the southern countryside. Once, when he returned by boat at night, he lost his way and strayed into the center of the lake. He narrowly escaped the disaster of capsizing and being buried in the belly of fish.
