Lihu Central Park

Lihu Park is situated by the shores of Li Lake in Wuxi, originally known as European Town. The park is open to the public for free. It features numerous European-style architectures, attracting many couples coming to take wedding photos, with photography studios also located within the park. Additionally, there is an underwater world in Wuxi within the park. The main road of the park is shaped like an ‘L’. Starting from the right end of the horizontal part of the ‘L’, you will pass over a bridge above water to see the Greek-style temple of Zeus, supported by stone pillars. At the turning point of the ‘L’, there is a musical statue fountain, with a white statue holding a trident in the middle of the pool. At the upper end of the vertical part of the ‘L’ was the location of the water curtain laser performance. Many travel guides and attractions mention that there are musical fountains and water curtain laser performances on weekends, but these are now mostly gone. Occasionally, the fountain is turned on at 3:00 PM on Sundays, but not every week. There are two branches off the vertical part of the ‘L’. Following the branch to the northwest, you will find a Norwegian rural church at the end, a small wooden church with a thin cross on the roof. Following the branch to the northeast, you will find European Street, lined with European buildings covered with red or green tiles and pointed roofs, where you can only take photos outside, as some interiors have been transformed into hotels. Deeper into European Street is the Disney Bridge, where you can see colorful statues of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs standing on the bridge railings. The Disney Bridge is very close to the underwater world within the park, and from the bridge, you can see the fairy-tale-like appearance of the underwater world. Wuxi Underwater World, also known as Li Lake Park Underwater World, is located in the northeast corner of the entire park. It is small inside, and you can easily explore it with younger children for educational entertainment. Here, you can see clumsy sea turtles, precious Chinese sturgeons, and lemon sharks with lemon-colored bellies. First, walk through the tropical rainforest area to see various exotic tropical fish, then in the fish area museum, you can see the skeleton of a sperm whale. Next, walk through the 20-meter-long underwater tunnel to watch large marine fish swimming overhead and admire the small fish around the reefs in the cylindrical tanks. To the west of Li Lake Park is Turtle Head Isle (2 kilometers straight line distance), to the east is Li Garden (approximately 1.2 kilometers away), and to the south is the Wuxi Film and Television Base (about 5 kilometers away). You can arrange your sightseeing route according to your preferences. The park is open all year round from 6:30 AM to 10:00 PM, with preferential policies for children under 1.2 meters (inclusive) being free of charge. Free supplementary information: The above information is for reference only, and the actual information is subject to the disclosure by the scenic area on the day. Must-see tips: There are few places to eat in the scenic area except for some small shops selling drinks, cold drinks, and children’s toys, so it is recommended to bring some dry food with you.

Lihu Central Park and Lihu Park are not the same place.

The latter is located to the east of Li Garden and features a Ferris wheel;

the former is situated to the west of Li Garden, without a Ferris wheel, but with European-style architecture and an underwater world.
