Rujing Hall, also known as the Tang Wenzhi Memorial Hall, is situated by the banks of Lake Taihu. It is a commemorative villa-style building named after Tang Wenzhi’s courtesy name, ‘Rujing’, and was officially completed in 1935.
The hall houses the ‘Tang Wenzhi Memorial Hall’ and the ‘Yu Qingtang Memorial Room’ in honor of Tang Wenzhi’s eldest daughter-in-law, who was also a social educator. The memorial hall and room exhibit the lives, manuscripts, photographs, works, and personal belongings of Tang Wenzhi and Yu Qingtang. In addition, there is a ‘Jiaotong Special Counter’ displaying photographs and documentary materials of Tang Wenzhi and Jiaotong University.
