Lin Keng is located within the territory of Huangnan Township. The majority of the residents in Lin Keng have the surname Mao, and the village has a history of over 700 years. It is said that in ancient times, the village was inhabited by the Lin family, but for unknown reasons, the Lins and the Maos from the nearby Daoji Village exchanged places, with the Maos thriving and multiplying in Lin Keng. Lin Keng is not just a name; it boasts well-preserved mountain dwellings along the Nanxi River. These dwellings are over 100 years old, with the oldest wooden house exceeding 200 years. The exquisitely designed wooden houses are nestled among green mountains and clear waters, exuding a simple and natural charm. The residences, built along the mountainside, are arranged in a scattered yet harmonious unity. Within the village, there are small bridges over flowing water, homes with curling smoke, and white clouds that occasionally encircle the area, making one feel lost in an idyllic scene. The village is open all year round and accessible 24 hours a day.
