Lindu Warm Village covers an area of 14 square kilometers with a total investment of 1 billion yuan. It extends from Dongshan Avenue in the west to Binhu Avenue in the east, from Jingnan Road in the north to Taihu Lake in the south, involving 13 natural administrative villages. The overall planning takes ‘industry empowerment and organic growth’ as the core concept. On the basis of preserving the original village culture, through the empowerment of industries such as agriculture, tourism, education, and health care, the ‘organic growth’ of the whole village is realized.
It is divided into two major sections: the southern cultural tourism area (covering 1,500 mu of Lindu Sea of Flowers · Mengguoguo Forest, Xiaodaoding Paradise, Starry Sky Camp, etc.) and the northern Taihu Lake villages (Donglindu, Xilindu, Nanzhang, and Gueshe). Integrating seven major sections including static rest and healing, innovation and entrepreneurship, whole-village supporting facilities, homestay vacations, parent-child entertainment, life aesthetics education, and educational formats, it is created into a spiritual home for rural life and an organically growing self-circulating village. In addition, Lindu Warm Village has also attracted and recruited many professionals in domestic scenic area development, park operation, brand management and other fields. Domestic designers such as Zhang Lei and Yu Ting are invited to participate in the renovation. Well-known brands such as Daohe Education, Natural Creations, Slow Study, Taolu, and Skylark Coffee have been introduced. A series of agricultural, cultural and tourism projects such as Mengguoguo Forest, Rice Field Coffee, and Rice Field Travel Small Train will be created, which are not only in harmony with the original rural culture but also enrich the business formats and meet the quality needs of modern people for leisure and vacation experiences. Located by the Taihu Lake and beside the rice fields, Lindu Taolu is known as ‘the house on the swing’. This’suspended’ white building comes from the thinking and unrestrained imagination of architect Yu Ting on rural life. Combined with the local culture of the original Taihu Lake countryside, it conveys love for rural land through structure and lines. As the ‘big star’ of Lindu Warm Village, the popular small trains of Nuannuan and Dudu are good friends of children and adults.
