The Lingquan Cave scenic area, open to visitors, features three natural limestone caves: Lingquan Cave, Qingfeng Cave, and Aiyun Cave, along with a small stone forest maze. Upon entering the scenic area, the first cave you reach, Lingquan Cave, is rich in underground water systems and requires a small wooden boat for touring, with a duration of about 10 minutes. This damp and cool journey is refreshing; one can feel the cool air emanating from the depths of the cave just by standing at the entrance. As you enter the cave by boat, you are surrounded by peculiar rocks illuminated by colorful lights, with reflections in the water creating a dreamlike scene. The boatman will guide you to the most impressive sights, and occasional water droplets falling from the cave ceiling require passengers to duck in some low areas, adding to the sense of adventure and mystery underground. This site was used for filming the 1983 version of ‘Journey to the West,’ with a small White Dragon sculpture by the cave bank, a prop left from the filming that can evoke childhood memories for those born in the 1980s.

After leaving Lingquan Cave and walking further up the mountain, you will reach Qingfeng Cave, located halfway up the mountain.Lingqi Cave, acclaimed as the ‘Underground Art Palace,’ has introduced an exciting new adventure this year: the Lingqi Koala Forest Adventure Project from France.
