The Lingshan Brahma Palace is located in the Lingshan Scenic Area. It stands adjacent to the Giant Buddha of Lingshan. The exterior of the Lingshan Brahma Palace is mainly in the style of Huazang Pagoda and combines grotto and traditional Buddhist architectural elements. The large stone slab exterior walls are covered with exquisite reliefs. The five golden spires are very grand. Entering the palace, the Dongyang wood carvings, Dunhuang murals, Yangzhou lacquerware, cloisonné Sumeru lamps, Shoushan stone carvings, Jingdezhen blue and white doucai vats and other artistic treasures are dazzling. The spacious hall is resplendent everywhere. You will see the twelve zodiac gold statues in human form. Each has a different sitting posture and vivid expression. Coming to the atrium, the elaborately carved tall dome is extraordinary. The blue top is like the blue sky. There are fairy statues in different forms on the front beams and columns, as if they are about to fly out. Walking through the atrium to the end, you can see a high wall shining with extraordinary splendor. This is the treasure of the Brahma Palace, ‘Huazang World’. The wall is 100 square meters in size and is made of 160 pieces of colored glaze. There are reliefs on it. In the middle are five golden Buddhas, ‘one large and four small’. Above is a wooden plaque with four golden characters ‘Infinite Responsiveness’. The whole work is truly dazzling. Then look at the altar. The most eye-catching thing in this spacious venue is its colorful large dome. The constantly changing lights make people seem to enter a dream. The ‘Lingshan Auspicious Ode’ performance here tells the story of Sakyamuni giving up the status of crown prince and his extravagant life, becoming a monk to practice, and becoming a Buddha after going through hardships. You can watch it while sitting on a cushion. In addition, on the second floor of the Brahma Palace, there is a treasure hall displaying many works of contemporary art and craft masters, including jade carvings, porcelain, paintings, etc. , which can be a feast for the eyes. You can also taste vegetarian food in the Wuguan Hall on the third floor.
