The Lingshan Auspicious Praise is a large-scale classic music event that offers an immersive 270-degree sound, light, and electric live performance depicting the historical story of ‘Siddhartha Gautama renouncing his princely position to become a monk and practice Buddhism, diligently advancing, and attaining omniscience, thus being called Buddha’.


The opening hours are from May 1st to October 31st, 07:00-17:30; from November 1st to December 31st, 07:00-17:00. Starting from November 1, 2024, Lingshan Scenic Area will implement winter hours as follows:

2. Vairocana Palace opening hours: 09:00-17:30


3. Vairocana Palace Treasure Hall opening hours: 09:30-16:30


4. Wu Yin Tancheng opening hours: 09:00-17:30


5. Endless Meaning Hermitage opening hours: 09:00-16:30


6. Buddhist Museum opening hours: 08:30-17:00


7. Ten Thousand Buddhas Hall opening hours: 08:30-16:30


Preferential policies: Children under 6 years old (inclusive) or under 1.4 meters in height (inclusive) are free; seniors aged 70 and above are free with valid identification; seniors aged 60 to 69 are half price; disabled individuals are free with valid identification; active-duty military personnel are free with valid identification; retired officials are free with valid identification; minors aged 6 to 18 are half price with valid identification; students with full-time undergraduate and below are half price with valid identification; teachers with 30 years of teaching experience in Wuxi are half price with valid identification; veterans with the ‘People’s Republic of China Veteran’s Preference Certificate’ or ‘People’s Republic of China Martyr, Duty-Related Death, and Deceased Military Personnel’s Dependents Preference Certificate’ can visit Wuxi Lingshan Scenic Area for free (excluding the Auspicious Praise performance).



Complimentary Admission for Firefighters: This includes active-duty, retired, and disabled firefighters, fire rescue academy students, and government full-time firefighters. Free Blood Donors: Those who have donated blood or造血干细胞 without compensation within the province, and those who have received awards for their contributions, including lifetime volunteer honors (with relevant award certificates).


Complimentary Tour Guides: Valid national tour guide certificates are required. Complimentary Admission for Buddhists: Required are the Lingshan Scenic Area’s Xiangfu Temple皈依证, 結緣卡, 功德卡, and 香客陪同证. Additional Information on Free Admission: The free admission excludes the main entrance fee, but a ticket for the ‘Auspicious Praise’ show at 50 yuan per person is required. Those eligible for a half-price ticket will receive a complimentary ‘Auspicious Praise’ show ticket.


‘Auspicious Praise’ show tickets must be reserved through the WeChat ‘Lingshan Scenic Area’ mini-program on the day of entry, with a limited number available per show, and each person can only watch once.
