Lingshan Wanfo Hall

Lingshan Wanfo Hall is located within the base that supports the Lingshan Great Buddha’s lotus seat. On November 15, 1997, the Lingshan Great Buddha was consecrated, along with 3,500 Lingshan small golden Buddhas and 9,999 true body Buddha statues of Lingshan Great Buddha, which were placed in this hall. The eminent monk, Mingshan Elder, performed the consecration ceremony for the hall. After the consecration, the small golden Buddhas were moved elsewhere, while the 9,999 true body Buddha statues of Lingshan Great Buddha remain enshrined on the steps set up in the hall, creating a grand spectacle reminiscent of the legendary ‘Ten Thousand Buddhas Paying Homage’. It is currently the Buddhist hall with the largest number of Sakyamuni copper statues. The hall is decorated with modern interiors, featuring carpets and a large-scale Chinese painting of ‘Five Buddhas of the Five Directions of China’ hanging in the center. The hall is open all year round from 09:00 to 17:00, with specific business conditions subject to the day’s opening status.
