Lingyan Mountain Scenic Area – Lingyan Temple

Lingyan Temple is built on the mountainside of Lingyan Mountain, so it is also commonly known as ‘Banshan Temple’. Lingyan Temple has experienced many vicissitudes and has risen and fallen. After reconstruction, Lingyan Temple has built Guanyin Pavilion, Mahavira Hall, bell tower, drum tower, mountain gate, enclosure, abbot’s quarters and well pavilion. The temple covers an area of about 3,000 square meters and a building area of about 2,000 square meters. The statues in the Mahavira Hall of Lingyan Temple have also been gilded and consecrated.


Opening hours: Open all year round from 06:30 to 18:20.
