Longwang Village is located in the northern part of Zhejiang, in the southern part of Shangshu Township, bordering the Jiangnan Tianchi to the east, with a half-hour mountain hike to the scenic area, and connected to the 72 peaks of the Great Han to the south. It is a typical mountain village in the northeastern part of the Tianmu Mountain Range, 80 kilometers away from Hangzhou and 230 kilometers away from Shanghai.
The altitude of Longwang Village ranges from 130 to 1115 meters, with numerous streams and springs, making it rich in water resources. Among them, Longwang Stream is an important tributary of the Xitaiao Stream, with clear, sweet water, unpolluted, and rich in minerals. The climate is mild with cool summers and pleasant autumns, with an average temperature of 18 degrees Celsius. Longwang Village has a profound cultural heritage, including manual papermaking, New Year painting, dragon culture, and longevity culture. It also has well-preserved ancient paths, Huifeng Ridge, and Dianjiang Stone, along with many legends and stories. Today’s Longwang Village is characterized by its towering mountains, undulating terrain, ancient trees, and bamboo forests reaching the sky, with bamboo shadows swaying between the hills and playful fish in the clear pools. The local customs are simple and harmonious, and the village integrates rich natural and cultural landscapes. Currently, Longwang Village has more than 30 farmhouses with well-developed infrastructure, and it has the capacity to receive tourists for sightseeing and vacations.
