Lugou Buddhist Temple is located in Jianhu County. It is named after the nearby Lugou River. It was first built in the Tang Dynasty and is a large-scale temple. The temple foundation is surrounded by rivers and is square. On the arched gate tower are four golden characters of ‘Lugou Buddhist Temple’. On both sides of the mountain gate are stone carvings of lions playing with hydrangeas.
