Luming Valley is located in Nianhua Bay, Wuxi. It is a long and narrow valley in the northeast. It is the first petal of the ‘five petals’ in the ‘eight views of lotus’. Mainly distributed are secluded meditation temples where eminent monks reside and practice, such as ‘Songyue Mountain House’ and ‘Ban Jian Ju’. It is said that when Tang Monk returned from obtaining scriptures and passed by here, he released two divine deer brought back from the Deer Park of the Buddha in Tianzhu Kingdom into the mountains. Up to now, deep in the mountain bay, there is still a clear pool called ‘Deer Sleeping Pool’. The Zen life here is vividly called ‘Mingmian Zen’. Open all year round and all day long.
