The Giant Buddha scenic area of Xuedou Mountain, namely Xuedou Temple, is the Maitreya Dojo at the foot of Xuedou Mountain. The temple is relatively new and of considerable scale. A huge outdoor Maitreya Buddha statue in the temple can be regarded as a conspicuous landmark in the Xikou scenic area and can be seen from afar in many places. Apart from the outdoor Maitreya, there are no particularly unmissable landscapes in Xuedou Temple. You can just relax and stroll around it, which is very enjoyable. You can buy a ticket for Xuedou Temple alone, but generally tourists will directly purchase a package ticket for the Xuedou Mountain scenic area and visit the scenic spots on Xuedou Mountain such as Miaogaotai and Qianzhangyan together.
