The Maoshan New Fourth Army Memorial Hall is located at the western foot of the Great Mao Peak, featuring five main parts: the struggle of the people of Southern Jiangsu against invaders, the establishment of the Maoshan Anti-Japanese Base, the eastward and northward advancement of the New Fourth Army in Southern Jiangsu, the development and persistence of the Southern Jiangsu Anti-Japanese Base, and the ultimate victory of the people of Southern Jiangsu in the Anti-Japanese struggle. The new hall is divided into six chambers, displaying over 1400 revolutionary artifacts and more than 2000 photos, with an additional 300 inscriptions from leaders and veterans of the New Fourth Army.
Opening hours are Tuesday to Sunday from 07:30 to 17:00 throughout the year; the hall is closed all day on Mondays.
