Jusha Garden is located on the east side of the central town area of Meili. It covers an area of 64,000 square meters. It is named after the ‘Jusha Baifu Pagoda’ built in the Southern Song Dynasty. Now the Jusha Pagoda is a cultural relic protection unit. In the garden, there are pavilions, waterside pavilions, ancient trees towering into the sky, lush trees and colorful flowers. It is an ideal place for tourism enthusiasts to relax and entertain. The main scenic spots include: Listening to the spring by Pingshan, the shadow of Jusha Pagoda, the breeze of ancient trees, talking about art on Lianfeng, being filial and incorruptible in Meili, as well as the corridor of famous inscriptions, the exhibition hall of historical sites, and the monument to the people’s armed forces of Changshu. The scenic area is equipped with supporting leisure places such as storytelling and ballad venues, tea seats, and children’s amusement parks. It integrates multiple functions such as cultural entertainment and leisure tours. In order to fully tap the profound historical and cultural heritage of the millennium-old ancient town, improve the quality of the scenic area and enhance the taste of the market town, Jusha Garden has been expanded and renovated many times. The area of the park has been expanded from 58,000 square meters to 64,000 square meters. The green area has reached 80%.
