The Meiyuan New Village Memorial Hall is an open-street style museum situated from Hanfu Street in the south to 35 meters beyond the original site of the delegation office in the north, with its eastern boundary being the eastern wall of Meiyuan New Village No.17 and the western boundary being the wall of the Nanjing Military Region Air Force Logistics Department.
This area features buildings from the first half of the 20th century, rows of French plane trees, and a series of attractions from south to north, including the KMT-CPC Nanjing Negotiation Historical Exhibition Hall, bronze statues, a library, and the former sites of the delegation office (Meiyuan New Village No.30, No.35, and No.17). The KMT-CPC Nanjing Negotiation Historical Exhibition Hall, which is the first to be visited, is a modern building with local characteristics, adopting a traditional courtyard layout, surrounded by tiger windows and stone-carved hollow windows with a strong ethnic style. In the center of the exhibition hall stands a large white marble relief, 6.5 meters high and 3.3 meters wide, depicting the group portrait of the delegation leaders and some staff members. The exhibition hall consists of two floors; the first floor’s exhibition area, ‘Meiyuan Vicissitudes,’ mainly narrates historical events, while the second floor’s exhibition area, ‘Meiyuan Elegance,’ mainly displays cultural relics. Opening hours are from 07/02 to 09/29, Tuesday to Sunday, 09:00-17:30; from 10/01 to 12/31, Tuesday to Sunday, 09:00-17:30; closed all day on Mondays during 07/02-09/29 and 10/01-12/31; 08:30-18:00 during the Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day; and on 09/30, 08:30-18:00.Meiyuan New Village Memorial Hall
