The Memorial Hall of Su Dongpo is located at the southern end of Su Causeway. It consists of three parts: a courtyard, exhibition halls, and Dongpo Garden.
The exhibition hall is two-story. The ground floor showcases Su Dongpo’s political achievements in Hangzhou. The upper floor displays his accomplishments in literature and art.
Surrounded by low fences and bamboo fences, the garden is filled with lush flowers and plants. Graceful bamboo shadows sway. There is a statue of Su Dongpo at the center.
In the Dongpo Art Garden at the back of the courtyard, there are rubbings, replicas, and poetic paintings of Su Dongpo’s calligraphy and paintings. They are available for visitors to view and purchase.
Opening hours: Monday, Wednesday-Sunday, 08:30-17:00. Tuesday is closed all day.
