China’s Beijige Meteorological Museum stands out from other meteorological science and technology museums, meteorological celebrity memorial halls, and other meteorological science popularization venues. It is the first museum in the country dedicated to showcasing the history of meteorology. The museum is organized into three thematic sections: ancient meteorology, modern meteorology, and contemporary meteorology. It comprehensively reflects the meteorological institutions and observation instruments, technology, and meteorological cultural context from ancient times to modern. Utilizing historical texts, images, materials, and actual scenes, combined with the use of multi-dimensional multimedia and special effects simulation, the museum presents modern meteorological technology and the future development strategies of the meteorological industry to the public. It focuses on providing middle and elementary school students with knowledge about meteorological teaching content related to their textbooks, basic knowledge of meteorological science, and disaster prevention and mitigation knowledge regarding meteorological disasters. The opening hours and specific business status are subject to the daily opening conditions.
