Art Shanghai collaborates with authoritative institutions and rare collections from China and France in the field of decorative art style, tracing and weaving for the first time: how art, design, and craftsmanship have shaped urban culture and aesthetic living. Over 120 sets of decorative art style century treasures, for the first time covering the ‘applied arts’ field with Chinese and French masterpieces, furniture, textiles, objects, clothing, jewelry, images, literature… A hundred treasures make their debut in China! Divided into 10 chapters, urban landscape – indoor residence – craft objects – clothing and jewelry – visual culture, for the first time, they interweave and resonate, drawing the urban spirit and urban culture of Shanghai and Paris. Supported by Chinese and French authoritative institutions, collectors, and researchers: The French National Furniture Management Museum (Le Mobilier national), established in the 17th century with over 100,000 rich collections, internationally renowned artists, Shanghai Art Deco collectors, Ding Yi’s private collection, the authority of the world’s fashion museums, the Paris Municipal Fashion Museum Galliera Palace (Palais Galliera), and the French Film Archive (La Cinémathèque française), a ‘pilgrimage site’ for film enthusiasts… The exhibition is open from November 8th to February 16th, with specific business status subject to the daily opening situation.
