Established in 1986, the renowned Xuguang Terrace is located near the Qingliang Pavilion, accessible via a small path leading to a distinctive mountain. The mountain, abundant in rocks and devoid of bamboo, features a central high arch resembling a steamed bun, with a summit area of about half an acre. A square platform has been constructed on top, surrounded by railings, stone chairs, and tea tables. At the center stands a small pavilion with eaves that offer unobstructed views, allowing visitors to rest and enjoy panoramic views. In the morning, one can watch the sunrise and the rosy clouds, while in the evening, the sunset and sea of clouds can be admired. Xuguang Terrace is an excellent spot on Mogan Mountain to witness the sunrise and sunset. Ascending to Xuguang Terrace offers a comprehensive view of Mogan Mountain, with its uneven buildings and bamboo sea villas, forming a magnificent natural picture that leaves one in awe. The area is open all year round and accessible 24 hours a day.
