Mo’s Manor is a typical Jiangnan manor building with a compact layout and is small and exquisite. A small river flows in front of it. Three gardens are scattered among them. Flowers and trees, pools, winding paths, and lake stones all form small scenes, just like a picturesque painting. Mo’s Manor is also an outdoor shooting location for film and television dramas such as “Dream of the Red Chamber”, “Spring, Autumn and Family Trilogy”, and “Ji Gong”. Perhaps you can find familiar scenes here. The overall structure of the manor is three groups and four entrances, symmetrical on the left and right, and staggered front and back. It follows the ancient system of facing south, along the street and facing the river, with the front hall and the back bedroom. On the east, middle, and west axes, from south to north, there are successively the foyer, ancestral hall, accounting room, flower hall, Buddhist hall, and kitchen; sedan hall, main hall, retiring hall, and hall building hall (including bedroom and women’s hall); study room, bedroom, etc. In addition, the Mo’s Manor Exhibition Hall with Mo’s Manor as the carrier was established in 1964. It is a thematic museum and can also be visited together. Opening hours: open all year round from 08:30 to 17:00.
