Chen Dexiu SHU, a singer, music producer, guitarist, and actor, has composed numerous popular songs such as ‘Gou Ai,’ ‘Lei Liao,’ ‘Yi Zhan Zhi Zhan,’ ‘Tian Shi De Ju Li,’ and ‘On the Day You Left.’ As the guitarist and leader of the bands Dong Cheng Wei and Chi Shi Dai, he has hosted hundreds of live performances. He has also been active as an actor, playing significant roles in the Ultimate series. Starting in 2020, Shu released ‘FOR YOU,’ ‘By My Side,’ ‘Non-stop Rain,’ ‘Red Sky,’ and ‘Rebirth’ as a solo artist. In 2023, he embarked on a widely acclaimed solo music tour. In 2024, he will present his latest original album ‘Survival of the Fittest’ and launch the 2024 Survival of the Fittest StayAlive Tour.

‘Survival of the Fittest StayAlive’ // Self // The self who is confused about materialism, the self facing a lost lover, the self pursuing dreams in youth, the self trying to break through adversity from setbacks, the self who wants but is powerless, the self facing this chaotic world, the self striving to find the power to be reborn. ‘Survival of the Fittest’ is Shu’s self-reflection on his life’s different processes and experiences, as well as his feelings about the current world… After experiencing two bands, the pandemic’s impact made it impossible for the bands to continue touring, prompting Shu to start making his own music singles and embark on a musical journey as a singer… The beginning of all this might have been accidental, but for Shu, it was an inevitable move against the current, facing doubts and striving to do his best. Since encountering adversity, he chose another path, undaunted and persistent, moving forward despite the thorns.
