After a five-year hiatus, musician Huang Yuyi embarks on a new tour. Over the past few years, with a renewed understanding of self and personal growth, Yuyi has evolved from a songwriter to a more versatile music producer. This time, he presents his new album ‘YULI,’ which he has composed, arranged, and mixed entirely on his own.
During his absence from the stage, he often felt alone. The beautiful encounters of the past seemed like a distant memory, yet they were always like stars in the dark night, calling him to revisit old dreams. His strong belief in the power of music and life has supported him in continuing to express and create music that is true to himself, treating music as an inseparable part of his life, just as it was ten years ago. However, after many changes and trials, he has also integrated new understandings and insights into his creations. Once a young man, he received warm goodwill from his music, and that goodwill strengthened his confidence in himself. In the lonely years that followed, it was the gratitude for that goodwill, and the belief that his music could still bring value to distant strangers, that kept him going. Now, as Yuyi approaches the age of thirty, he sets off again to meet souls who may never have met but are connected through the power of music. He knows that many people may no longer listen to his songs or even remember his name, but he must strive harder to continue, to be worthy of the encouragement and support they once gave.
