How should we spend New Year’s Eve with full ceremony? Watching movies? Playing games? Or just as usual? How can we welcome the New Year with a sense of ceremony? We recommend you to attend a live New Year’s concert! Although we can enjoy music from all over the world in bed for free, from paper scores to vinyl to cassettes and then to digital MP3s, with post-processing sound quality that can even be perfect, the unique charm of live performance is indescribable. The sense of wonder from listening to a concert live is also always unique, bringing you infinite surprises every second! New Year’s concerts have become a must-have option for many people at New Year’s Eve both domestically and internationally, and the music played at these concerts is also well-known classics. Listening to classic music, reminiscing about the era’s classic music, can add a sense of ceremony to the film and television, and also give the film and television a strong and appropriate dramatic color. I believe for most people, most of the memories of film and television are those classic and pleasant melodies. Many years later, you may forget the plot, even the name of the movie or TV series, but when the melody of that song from your memory sounds, it will definitely awaken all your memories of this song, including when you watched it. This concert carefully selects familiar Chinese and foreign classic movies or classic music, soundtracks, etc., for adaptation, suitable for all ages. In one concert, we can appreciate Canon in D, the theme song of the movie Titanic, My Heart Will Go On, as well as selections from Scent of a Woman, Coco, and the classic works of Johann Strauss, such as The Blue Danube and Radetzky March. After careful adaptation by the orchestra, it combines the chamber orchestra with modern music styles, reminiscing about the good times in music, healing the soul, and being relaxing and cheerful, suitable for all levels of people. The performance team, Jixiang Chamber Orchestra, was established in 2019. The organization was jointly created by many excellent musicians and various chamber orchestras who love music at home and abroad. The musicians are composed of outstanding graduates from famous domestic music schools such as the Central Conservatory of Music, Shanghai Conservatory of Music, and Zhejiang Conservatory of Music, as well as returned overseas musicians and outstanding musicians from other non-professional schools. The organization has its own resident music arrangers, and the performance repertoire is rich and wonderful. The performance forms are various, including solos, chamber music, fusion orchestras, and symphony orchestras. Their footprints are all over concert halls, universities, and communities, continuously creating a beautiful musical experience and listening enjoyment for the audience. Program: 1. Canon in D
