Youqi Temple is located at the southern foot of Zutang Mountain in Jiangning District, Nanjing City. It was first built in the third year of Daming in the Liu Song Dynasty of the Southern Dynasties. It is an early temple among the ‘four hundred and eighty temples in the Southern Dynasties’ and has a history of about 1,500 years.
