The Nanjing Olympic Museum was established on the occasion of the second Nanjing Youth Olympic Games and opened on August 17, 2014. With a construction area of 7896 square meters and an exhibition area of 5034 square meters, it is an important part of the legacy of the Nanjing Youth Olympic Games. The museum is designed with the concept of ‘Looking back at history, blending cultures, witnessing growth, and sharing surprises’ and themed ‘A Century of Flame, Youthful Nanjing’. It showcases over 1000 precious exhibits, nearly 400 photographs, 6 sculptures, and 29 multimedia spots.
Opening hours: The museum is closed all day on Mondays throughout the year; it is open from 09:30 to 17:00 from Tuesdays to Sundays. Please refer to the on-site notices for specific opening times.
